Diyap Yıldırım or Diyap agha was a Kurdish politician in Turkey and the leader of the Ferhatuşağı tribe in Dersim. He represented Dersim in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey from 1920 to 1923.

Zaro Aga was a Kurdish man who claimed to be one of the longest-living humans ever. He claimed birth in 1774, and died on 29 June 1934 in Istanbul, Turkey. He was aged 160 when he died, and thus claimed to be one of the longest-living humans ever.

Yakup Ağa or Ebu Yusuf Nurullah Yakub, was the father of the Barbarossa Brothers, Oruç and Hızır. A Sipahi of Turkish or Albanian descent. Yakup Ağa was a former Sipahi, a Turkish feudal cavalry knight, from Yenice. Yakup was among those who took part in the capture of the Aegean island of Lesbos from the Genoese on behalf of the Ottomans in 1462. For his participation he was granted the fief of Bonova village of the island as a reward and the title of the village's Agha (master).

Anu Aga is an Indian billionaire businesswoman and social worker who led Thermax, an energy and environment engineering business, as its chairperson from 1996 to 2004. She was among the eight richest Indian women, and in 2007 was part of 40 Richest Indians by net worth according to Forbes magazine. She was awarded with the Mumbai Women of the Decade Achievers Award by ALL Ladies League, the all ladies wing of ASSOCHAM.
