Edmund Beaufort, styled 4th Duke of Somerset, was an English nobleman, and a military commander during the Wars of the Roses, in which he supported the Lancastrian king Henry VI.

Sir Philip Wentworth of Nettlestead, Suffolk was an English knight and courtier. Wentworth was a great-grandfather of Jane Seymour, third wife of King Henry VIII, and was beheaded at Middleham, Yorkshire.

Jelena Šubić was a member of the Bribir branch of the Šubić noble family who ruled the Banate of Bosnia as regent from 1354 until 1357.

Federico II Paolo Novello da Montefeltro was Count of Urbino from 1364 until his death. He was the son of Nolfo da Montefeltro. He had four sons, of which Antonio returned to become Count of Urbino in 1364.

Grgur Branković was a 15th-century Serbian nobleman. Grgur was the eldest son of Serbian Despot Đurađ Branković and Eirene Kantakouzene. In 1439, after the Ottomans captured Smederevo, the capital of the Serbian Despotate, they appointed Grgur as governor of his father's captured estates. Because he plotted against the Ottomans, they dismissed him and put him in prison in April 1441. In May 1441 the Ottomans blinded Grgur and his brother Stefan. In 1458, during struggle for the throne of the Serbian Despotate, Grgur resurfaced claiming it for himself or his son. In 1459 he retreated to Hilandar Monastery, where he took monastic vows. Grgur died in Hilandar on October 16, 1459.

Henry Ferrers, 2nd Baron Ferrers was the son of William Ferrers, 1st Baron Ferrers of Groby and his wife Ellen. Henry Ferrers has been described by one recent historian as "arguably the most successful member of his family" on account of his being the only one, in six generations, to have succeeded to his patrimony as an adult, thus "protecting his inheritance from the hazards of wardship."

Philip Wharton, 3rd Baron Wharton (1555–1625) was an English peer of the Wharton barony. Wharton was named after his godfather, Philip II of Spain.
