Heinrich Bleichrodt

Heinrich Bleichrodt was one of the most successful German U-boat commanders of the Second World War. For this he received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, among other commendations. He earned the nickname "Ajax" during his time with the U-boats.
