Daniel Chee Tsui is a Chinese-born American physicist, Nobel laureate, and the Arthur Legrand Doty Professor of Electrical Engineering, Emeritus, at Princeton University. Tsui's areas of research include electrical properties of thin films and microstructures of semiconductors and solid-state physics.

Cao Gangchuan was vice chairman of the Central Military Commission and former Minister of National Defense of the People's Republic of China. He was also state councilor and director of the PLA General Armament Department.

Wang Bao'an is a former Chinese politician who served as director of the National Bureau of Statistics since April 2015. On January 26, 2016, Wang was placed under investigation by the Communist Party of China's anti-graft agency.

Jia Ting'an is a retired general in the Chinese People's Liberation Army. He served as the deputy director of the Political Work Department. He was a principal aide to Jiang Zemin, former General Secretary of the Communist Party of China.
