Hu Angang is an economics professor at Tsinghua University.

Yang Xiaodu is a Chinese politician, the Director of the National Supervisory Commission, and a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China. He has served in Shanghai and Tibet during his early political career. Since 2014, he has also been a Deputy Secretary of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI), the leading anti-graft body of the Communist Party of China.

Ye Tianshi (1667–1747) was a Chinese medical scholar who was the major proponent of the "school of warm diseases". His major work, Wen-re Lun published in 1746, divided the manifestations of diseases into four stages: wei, qi (qi-phase), ying (nutrient-phase), and xue (blood-phase).

Wang Yani is a Chinese artist who began painting at the age of two-and-a-half. Her work was exhibited in China when she was four, appeared on a postage stamp when she was eight, and she had a solo exhibition at a museum in London when she was fourteen, and soon after, at the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery at the Smithsonian Institution, in a traveling exhibit organized by the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, Missouri. The Sackler exhibit included a painting done when she was three entitled "Kitty."

Liu Yuxin is a Chinese actress and model. She is best known for her role as Gororo Mingyu in the 2011 television series Scarlet Heart. She graduated from the Central Academy of Drama.

Chen Wentong, better known by his pen name Liang Yusheng, was a Chinese writer. Credited as the pioneer of the "New School" (新派) of the wuxia genre in the 20th century, Chen was one of the best known wuxia writers in the later half of the century, alongside Jin Yong and Gu Long.

Hung Yan-yan is a Hong Kong martial artist, actor, stuntman and action director originally from Liuzhou, Guangxi, China. He was the stunt double for martial arts superstar Jet Li.

Sima Lang (171–217), courtesy name Boda, was a government official who lived during the late Eastern Han dynasty of China. He was the eldest among the eight sons of Sima Fang, who served as the Intendant of the Capital (京兆尹) during the reign of Emperor Ling, He was described as a big and tall man. In his early years, he took the tests required to serve as an official in the Han government and briefly held the position of a civil service cadet. In 189, when the warlord Dong Zhuo seized control of the Han central government, Sima Lang managed to escape with his family and return to his hometown.

Hu Bo, also known by his pen name Hu Qian, was a Chinese novelist and film director, best known for his only feature film An Elephant Sitting Still (2018), which garnered widespread praise from critics. He died by suicide on 12 October 2017 at the age of 29, soon after he finished that film.

Ju Wenjun is a Chinese chess grandmaster. She is the current Women's World Chess Champion and became the fifth woman to cross the 2600 barrier in March 2017. Ju Wenjun won 3 consecutive Women's World Chess Championships held between 2018 and 2020.
