Harry van der Laan is a retired Dutch football striker. He made his professional debut in the 1988–89 season for FC Den Haag. Later on he played for Feyenoord, ADO Den Haag, Dordrecht'90, SC Cambuur, FC Den Bosch, and Viterbese Calcio (Italy).

Wim Schepers was a Dutch professional road cyclist. A professional from 1966 to 1975, he won two stages of the 1970 Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré and finished second in the 1972 Liège–Bastogne–Liège to Eddy Merckx.

Pieter van Musschenbroek was a Dutch scientist. He was a professor in Duisburg, Utrecht, and Leiden, where he held positions in mathematics, philosophy, medicine, and astronomy. He is credited with the invention of the first capacitor in 1746: the Leyden jar. He performed pioneering work on the buckling of compressed struts. Musschenbroek was also one of the first scientists (1729) to provide detailed descriptions of testing machines for tension, compression, and flexure testing. An early example of a problem in dynamic plasticity was described in the 1739 paper.

Ad Wijnands was a Dutch professional road bicycle racer, who won two stages in the 1981 Tour de France.

Jan van Logteren, was an 18th-century draftsman and sculptor from the Northern Netherlands.

Harald M. Bergmann is a Dutch politician of the VVD. Since August 27, 2012 he has been mayor of Middelburg, capital of the province of Zeeland. Before that, he was mayor of the municipality of Albrandswaard.
