Jiří Georg Dokoupil
Jiří "Georg" Dokoupil is a Czech-German painter and graphic artist. He was founding-member of the German artist group Mülheimer Freiheit and the Junge Wilde Art movement, which arose in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Ulrich Steinvorth
Ulrich Steinvorth (born 1941) is a German political philosopher. He earned his doctorate with Günther Patzig in 1967. His dissertation was on private language and sensation in Wittgenstein. He habilitated in 1975 at the University of Mannheim with a thesis that advanced an analytic interpretation of Marx's Dialectic. His primary field of research is political philosophy. Additionally, he has published on topics in moral philosophy and applied philosophy, as well as the history of philosophy and metaphysics. He has also been an active supporter of the German branch of the Creative Commons movement.
Kateřina Tomalová
Kateřina Tomalová is a Czech badminton player. Trained at the TJ Sokol Klimkovice, Tomalová made her international debut in 2004, and later joining the national team in 2007. She was a champion at the 2012 National Championships in the women's doubles. Tomalová entered the Badminton Europe Centre of Excellence (CoE) program in 2019. She competed at the 2015 and 2019 European Games.
Grete Berger
Grete Berger was an Austrian-German stage and film actress whose career came to an end following the rise of the Nazi Party in 1933. Berger died at Auschwitz concentration camp in 1944 shortly after her arrival.
