Domingos António de Sequeira was a famous Portuguese painter at the Royal Court of King John VI of Portugal.

Infante Manuel, Count of Ourém, KGF ([mɐnuˈɛɫ]; Manuel José Francisco António Caetano Estêvão Bartolomeu; was a Portuguese infante, seventh child of Peter II, King of Portugal, and his wife Maria Sophia of Neuburg. He was the brother of King John V of Portugal. He was a candidate for the Polish throne.

Cesário Verde was a 19th-century Portuguese poet. His work, while mostly ignored during his lifetime and not well known outside of the country's borders even today, is generally considered to be amongst the most important in Portuguese poetry and is widely taught in schools. This is partly due to his being championed by many other authors after his death, notably Fernando Pessoa.
