Basit Igtet is a Zurich-based entrepreneur and Libyan national who has founded several companies in various sectors. In 2011, he worked to support the Libyan revolution through international lobbying and was consequently appointed as a Special Envoy to the Libyan National Transitional Council (NTC) on 4 September 2011.

Misbah El-Ahdab, born on April 1, 1962 in Tripoli, Lebanon, is a Lebanese politician and a former MP representing Tripoli in the Lebanese Parliament. He was elected to parliament in 1996 and re-elected in the legislative elections of 2000 and 2005.
Farhat Bengdara
Farhat Omar Bengdara is a Libyan politician and banker who was the governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) until he defected to the anti-Gaddafi side in the course of the Libyan Civil War. He left Libya for Turkey, which had directs flights and no visa requirements, on 21 February, but was formally in office until 6 March, when the government realised he would not return.

Iman al-Obeidi
Iman al-Obeidi is a former Libyan postgraduate law student who received worldwide media attention during the Libyan Civil War. This was because she burst into the restaurant of the Rixos Hotel in Tripoli and told the international press corps there that Libyan troops had beaten and gang-raped her. Her public statement challenged both the Gaddafi government and the taboo against discussing sex crimes in Libya.
