Chen Wu is a Chinese politician currently serving as deputy director of the Financial and Economic Committee of the National People's Congress. Previously He served as the Chairman (Governor) and Deputy Communist Party Chief of Guangxi Autonomous Region. He is a member of the Zhuang minority.

Tang Yuanting is a Chinese badminton player. She competed at the 2016 Rio Olympics in the women's doubles event partnered with Yu Yang, but lost to the Korean pair in the bronze medal match.

Yao Yan is a retired Chinese badminton player from Nanning, Guangxi. She competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics.

Zhou Mi is a Chinese badminton player. During much of her career she represented the People's Republic of China, but since 2007 she has represented Hong Kong which has a sports program and teams independent from those of the mainland. In 2010, she received a 2-year ban, for failing a drugs test.

He became famous in 2016 after a 2012 video went viral of him being questioned by local police in Guangxi after being arrested for stealing electric bicycles. When he was released from prison in April 2020, he was offered up to ¥3 million RMB to sign with talent agents, but he declined the offers, instead opening a barbecue restaurant. The Chinese government has criticized him as part of an effort to suppress slacker culture, censored fan videos praising him using the nickname Qie Guevara, and threatened to blacklist talent agencies that work with him.
