Guðni Thorlacius Jóhannesson is an Icelandic historian serving as the sixth and current president of Iceland. He took office in 2016 after winning the most votes in the 2016 election, 71,356 (39.1%). He was reelected in 2020 with 92.2% of the vote.

Vigdís Finnbogadóttir GCMG is an Icelandic politician who served as the fourth President of Iceland from 1 August 1980 to 1 August 1996. She was the world's first female who was democratically elected as president. With a presidency of exactly sixteen years, she also remains the longest-serving elected female head of state of any country to date. Currently, she is a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, and a member of the Club of Madrid. She is also to-date Iceland's only female president.

Skúli Mogensen is an Icelandic investor and entrepreneur. He owns the investment firm Títan, founded and OZ Communications, and founded and was sole owner and CEO of the Iceland-based budget airline WOW air, which went bankrupt on 28 March 2019.
