Christa Luft is a German economist and politician of the SED/PDS. Luft joined the SED in 1958. From 18 November 1989 to 18 March 1990 she was economy minister in the Modrow government. From 1994 to 2002 she was member of the Bundestag for the PDS.

Anatoly Ivanovich Kolesov was a Soviet Greco-Roman wrestler and coach. He won the world welterweight title in 1962, 1963 and 1965 and an Olympic gold medal in 1964.

Elisabeth A. Gotbaum is an American civil servant, politician and a former New York City Public Advocate. She was elected Public Advocate for New York City in 2001 and reelected in 2005. She was the third woman elected to a citywide post in NYC history. The other two were Carol Bellamy, who served as city council president from 1978 to 1985, and Elizabeth Holtzman, who served as comptroller from 1990 to 1993. She is a Democrat.

Upon the arrival of economic reforms in China and the opening up to first provincial-level officials of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, he took the leadership of the country's private entrepreneurs. According to Hurun Report's China Rich List 2013, he was the 335th richest person in China.

Mary Fanett Wheeler is an American mathematician. She is known for her work on numerical methods for partial differential equations, including domain decomposition methods. In 2009 she was awarded the Theodore von Kármán Prize by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM).
