Philip Middlemiss is an English television and radio actor, best known for playing bookmaker Des Barnes in ITV's Coronation Street between 1990 and 1998. The character was killed off, ordered by Brian Park, who was the programme's producer at the time. He subsequently appeared in ITV's Where the Heart Is for a few series in the 2000s.

His writer/director credits include No Telling, Habit (1997), Wendigo (2001), and The Last Winter, which is in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum Of Modern Art. He has also directed the television feature Beneath (2013), an episode of the NBC TV series Fear Itself (2008) entitled "Skin and Bones", and a segment of the anthology horror-comedy film The ABCs of Death 2 (2014). He is the writer, with Graham Reznick, of the BAFTA Award-winning Sony PlayStation video game Until Dawn. He has acted in numerous films including Like Me (2017), In a Valley of Violence (2016), We Are Still Here (2015), Jug Face (2012), and Broken Flowers (2005).

Anthony J. Barbieri is an Italian-American comedic writer and performer. He is most famous for his appearances as the Jimmy Kimmel Live! character "Jake Byrd." He is also known for playing the character of "Walter 'Mole' Molinski" for the "Perry Project", a long term prank by Barbieri and fellow comedian Don Barris on Perry Caravello which has included the Big Three Podcast as well as the feature film Windy City Heat.
